ZOOLANDER No. 2 Y DAWN OF JUSTICE LIDERAN LOS NOMINADOS A LOS RAZZIES

Hoy anunciaron las nominaciones para la 37ta entrega de los Golden Raspberries (Razzie), premiaciones que honran la mediocridad de las películas lanzadas por Hollywood. Entre las personas nominadas y ganadores de este “premio” (si se les puede llamar así) se encuentra el director Paul Verhoeven, las actrices Sandra Bullock y Halle Berry, y gran parte de la filmografía de Adam Sandler. Estas premiaciones básicamente son los anti-Oscares; de hecho, son celebrados cerca de la fecha de los Oscares. Este año la premiación se llevará a cabo el 27 de febrero, víspera de la noche de los Oscares.

Con nueve nominaciones, Zoolander No. 2 es la que más nominaciones recibió este año. Entre las nominaciones está Peor Película, Peor Actor, Peor Actor de Reparto y Peor Secuela o Reboot. Esta secuela al éxito del 2000 de Ben Stiller fue catalogada universalmente como una película que llegó 15 años tarde y/o una secuela que no hacía falta.

Dawn of Justice, la segunda película lanzada por Warner Bros y DC Comics, expandiendo el universo cinematográfico de DC que comenzó en Man Of Steel, colocó ocho nominaciones a los Razzies. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg y Zack Snyder fueron nominados en categorías similares a las de Zoolander. Cabe notar que Suicide Squad, una película que fue peor favorecida por la crítica que Dawn of Justice solo consiguió dos nominaciones: Jared Leto como Peor Actor de Reparto y David Ayer como escritor de Peor Libreto.

Gods of Egypt, protagonizada por Gerard Butler (quien consiguió una nominación doble por Peor Actor por esta y London has Fallen) y dirigida por Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, I Robot) entró a la contienda con cinco nominaciones. Esta película desde el momento en que lanzaron el primer trailer la crítica la aniquiló, entre otras cosas, por el hecho de tener actores caucásicos en roles que claramente no iban a la par con los personajes que estaban interpretando.
