Hoy comenzó la batalla por la estatuilla dorada conocida como el Oscar al anunciar los nominados para la edición número 89 de los premios. La película con mayor cantidad de nominaciones fue “La La Land” al recibir un total de 14, empatando con “Titanic” y “All About Eve”. Este año vemos como las nominaciones embarcaron de todo un poco, incluyendo minorías, ya que en el pasado se acusó a la Academia en ser muy blancos. Entre los nominados se encuentran “Moonlight,” “Fences” y “Hidden Figures,” todas siendo nominadas como Mejor Película.
Otra de las sorpresas fue la nominación al puertorriqueño Lin-Manuel Miranda como escritor de la canción “How Far I’ll Go” para la película animada Moana. De ganar sería de los pocos en recibir un premio Grammy, Tony y Pulitzer, así que tenemos que dar nuestro apoyo.
La ceremonia se va llevar a cabo el 26 de febrero y su anfitrión es el comediante Jimmy Kimmel. A continuación el listado completo de nominados.
